How to Pitch Angel Investors in Dubai
Angels decide fast. A clear deck, a short first email and a crisp meeting get you to a second conversation. Here is what each should contain.
The deck: 12 slides
- One-line description of what you do
- The problem, with evidence
- Your solution and product
- Why now
- Market size, built bottom-up
- Traction: revenue, users, growth
- Business model and unit economics
- Competition and your edge
- Go-to-market plan
- Team
- The raise: amount, instrument, use of funds
- Milestones the money will reach
The first email
Subject: [Company]: [one-line traction] raising [amount] seed
Hi [Name], [one specific reason they fit, e.g. their investment in a related company]. We are [one line on what you do] for [customer]. Since [date] we have [traction]. We are raising [amount] to [milestone]. Deck attached; would you be open to 20 minutes next week?
In the meeting
- Lead with traction and the customer problem, not the product tour.
- Know your numbers cold.
- Ask what they need to see to invest, and when they decide.
